  1. Hi Ladies-

I just put my chimichangas in the oven, and realized that there is not enough filling in the filling bags. I’m sorry about that! I followed the recipe on all the ingrediants, but when I went to put in 1/2 c into each tortilla I came up quite short. Hopefully your bag was more full, mine was the last one. But even so, you might want to try putting 1/3 c in each, adding some shredded cheese to beef it up more, and/or making 5 instead of the recommended 6.

    Sorry

    Heidi

  2. Disappointed in the serve day cooking instructions for the Let’s Dish Honey Ginger Shrimp:

    1. The thawing instructions said to “Keep Frozen” which caused a couple problems. The first was the “ice block with shrimp in it” resulted in unevenly cooked shrimp. While the outer layers melted off and cooked right away, the middle was still frozen and raw. The other problem was adding the frozen mandarin sauce to the rice which, of course, makes the rice cold.

    2. As I was questioning the shrimp instructions, I completely forgot to turn the heat down while the rice cooked and ended up with burnt rice. When I referred back to the instructions, they did not say to turn the heat down. (there are people out there that do not know how to cook rice). Had it been in the instructions, I would have been reminded before it was too late.

On a good note, the chicken chimichangas were wonderful, again!
