I’m a married mother of 3. Who loves living in Minnesota, prep ahead cooking, and couldn’t live without them now. No more worries about the age old question “What’s for Dinner?”. I am also transitioning my family into the slow food and clean eating movement. I believe it’s best if we can eat food in it’s most natural state. I love to share the information I have been gaining through this whole experience. I’m also a trained personal chef. Cooking is a passion and hobby of mine. Hope your are enjoying the content of my blog.

  1. Just had the Cheesy Chilada Bake tonight. Loved it!! We have left overs for lunch tomorrow. Nice and easy quick meal! Thanks

  2. Beef egg rolls fell apart easily, but had really good flavor. I put wontons on greased cookie sheet, brushed with olive oil and baked at 400 for about 7 minutes. Very yummy!

  3. What a mess with the egg rolls. Sorry. I followed the directions. They fall apart when taken out of the bag. But we did eat them (hotdish style). The flavor was great, I thought.

  4. Maren and Lisa shared your mancotti and Spaghetti & meatballs with my inlaws family. We loved the mancotti. Meatballs and Sauce great flavor, but meatballs to mushy. Maybe use less bread crumbs next time. 🙂 Enjoying our meals ladies.

  5. Jolean – Had the wontons and egg rolls. Very tasty. Make sure next time you freeze all individually then they won’t stick together.

How I fixed the problem was thawed wonton and then fried as direction said. I baked egg roll clumps from frozen at 450f for 20 min. and fried egg roll top side down till golden brown. Then cut in half to serve. So mine didn’t fall apart.

    Loved the the flavors.
