WATCH OUT, this is very addicting! I love to make Seafood Fettuccine and Alfredo pizza’s with this recipe but you can also just make the Alfredo sauce for dipping breadsticks.
Alfredo Sauce
2 Cups of Cream – $3.39 Organic Valley
1 Stick of Butter – $1.00 Organic Butter ($3.99 lb.)
1 Clove of Garlic Minced – $.15 Organic
1 Cup of Parmesan Reggiano Cheese (or just Parmesan Cheese if you prefer)- $1.37
Total for ingredients in this recipe: $5.91
Prep Day: Melt the butter over medium low heat. Add your cream, minced garlic and grated cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes to allow to thicken, stir occasionally. This is so simple but so delicious!
Cool and freeze.
Serve Day: Thaw. Heat till hot and creamy.
