I’m a married mother of 3. Who loves living in Minnesota, prep ahead cooking, and couldn’t live without them now. No more worries about the age old question “What’s for Dinner?”. I am also transitioning my family into the slow food and clean eating movement. I believe it’s best if we can eat food in it’s most natural state. I love to share the information I have been gaining through this whole experience. I’m also a trained personal chef. Cooking is a passion and hobby of mine. Hope your are enjoying the content of my blog.

  1. We had the Baked Pasta with Chicken sausage, thought it was great and loved how easy and quick it was.

We also had the Chicken pockets which i will definitely make on my own. The chicken mixture was seasoned great and the breadcrumbs were a nice addition.

  2. Question about the Stromboli, it says Atrange the meats on each rectangle and then to roll each rectangle, confused as to how many rectangles there should be. I am only picturing one. Sorry, maybe it’s a pregnancy, not thinking moment. Made the chicken packets earlier this week but omitted the breadcrumb part and they were awesome! Making your sausage rigatoni tonight!

  3. Amanda, I assembled the stromboli for the group. Yes, One large rectangle ( frozen pizza dough) for the recipe, then rolled, seemed pinched, baked and sliced. I would agree with Nicole, it was heavily seasoned with pepper. We did enjoy it, but could reduce the amount pepper.

  4. Mac and cheese was good. We served it with company and she asked for the recipe!

Chicken Packets were a hit this month!

    Kung Pao Chicken was awesome.

Stromboli too much italian seasoning in some bites.

Fajita casserole too many olives for us. But my daughter likes olives and that was the only part she ate and we gave her ours 🙂
